Under the Surface is the debut EP from guitarist and songwriter Trey Shreddings — a deeply personal first chapter that dives beneath the noise to explore vulnerability, resilience, and the quiet battles we fight within ourselves.
Blending emotive guitar-driven soundscapes with raw, introspective songwriting, this four-song collection captures the push and pull between isolation and connection, fear and hope, and the weight of simply trying to stay afloat in an overwhelming world. Each track peels back another layer — from the haunting tension of Crawling Away, to the swelling, wave-like release of Tidal Waves, the intimate pull of Breathe Me In, and the stark honesty of No One Else.
At its core, Under the Surface is about what lies beneath the version of ourselves we show the world — the thoughts we bury, the emotions we suppress, and the strength it takes to confront them.
